Clif Bars

Um...do any of you people know what a Clif Bar is? You should. They rock, hard. I like to have them for breakfast because I can just pop one in my purse and it keep me feeling satisfied for about 5-6 hours. I'd say the only downside is their sugar content and carbs, if you're counting that. They also make Luna Bars, which have added vitamins "for women." I don't know about the vitamins, but they are good. I never really thought I'd get into energy/protein bars, but I am officially "in."

The other interesting thing about them is that they are actually better for you as a whole, than those weird slim fast bars. And they taste way better. Bonus.

Do yourself a favor and pick up one or one hundred. They will rock your socks off.

I'm using them for long workouts.

I have a throwing buddy that has Power Bar as a sponsor. When I see him he always has lots of free stuff. I ran out a way back and made the switch.

I've only used them once in the middle of a long run. It went down good. And it's all organic.

Check out the story on the back about how the guy came to make 'em.

I eat a Luna every morning for breakfast. I do the chocolate pecan pie and the peanut butter. I am not a big soy fan but I can stomach these. I have not tried clif though. How funny...I was actually going to post about Luna last week and got way-layed.

hmmm... um these sound awesome! bring me one tonight ;) I'd never heard of either brand before, and I've spent some time in the health food/protein bar section. I wonder why I missed them!

I can't even imagine being satisfied with one Nutri-Grain bar. I feel like I'd need to eat at least 3 to feel like it was going to stay with me for any length of time.

Good to know that Clif bars are good. I have one in my drawer that someone gave me when meals were still coming, and I've been hesitant to try it.

I love the Luna Bar! Peanut Butter Cookie is my favorite! what a shocker. I will have to give the clif bar a shot!

I used to be into Clif bars. But I found that I will eat as many as are on hand. If I kept popping them like tic-tacs that whole weight loss thing would have backfired, more than she has.

Oooh, those are good. Cliff also makes these "Builders Bars" that you can buy at Wegman's with more protein and they are awesome. You should try peanutbutter flavor, if you do try them.
